An Excellent 5-star hotel Hotel Torbräu is a lovely hotel to stay. It is in a great location, 5 -min. walk to Marienplatz, shops, restaurants & other historic places. It’s peaceful, quiet and no street noise at night. I was greeted by a friendly & polite staff, Paul, at the front desk. He is very helpful, offering good advice and speaks excellent English, a plus to me. I had a single, updated and cozy room with comfortable bed and pillows and good air conditioning. It is spotlessly clean and had an updated & modern bathroom. The mini bar was free and refill everyday, an added bonus. The housekeeping staff is great - always clean towel each day. The breakfast buffet is awesome with a variety of choices. The Buffet staff are very friendly with a morning greetings of hot coffee, coco or tea. A good way to start the day. Will definitely stay here again when I next visit.

Wonderful hotel in the most perfect location. Easy and friendly check-in, big room with all the amenities and we were at the front of the hotel with a beautiful view of clock tower outside our windows. Fantastic bakeries across the street and excellent service at the bar just outside the hotel. We loved everything about this hotel. Our two-night stay was the start of a 10 day vacation across Germany and we could not have been happier with the accomodations. Great location in Marianplatz with access to shops, restaurants and beautiful architecture.

Lovely hotel only a 5-10 min walk from Marienplatz and minutes from the Sbahn connection to the train stations and airport. Our room was spotless, bed was very comfortable with good quality linens. Lots of space for luggage. Good sized, modern bathroom. Wifi worked well in the room. Quiet A/C. The breakfast is excellent. Lots of choices of fresh fruits, yogurts, eggs, sausages etc along with sweet pastries all taken in a nice breakfast room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Munich.

I was evaluating this hotel and the others and I was worrying about the comfort of the bed, the size of the room and the noise, however this hotel exceeded my expectations: the room was arranged so well that I did not feel the compactness; the bed and the pillow were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and functional, the room on the back was quiet, and the staff was friendly especially the e cleaning ladies (except one guy at the front desk ignoring me twice by busying talking to his friend on the phone and busy talking to his colleague).

The location is perfect for visiting the old town of Munich by foot & it’s only a 5 minute train ride (or 20 min walk) from the main train station. The staff is very nice and helpful. My single room was just perfect for traveling solo, and included an espresso machine complete with pods, cream, & sugar, restocked daily and a mini fridge kept stocked with treats & non alcoholic beverages. The bed was comfortable & the bathroom products were great. I would definitely stay again!
